The EMGP Corby 5 mile race

This race will be held under covid-19 restrictions according to government advice and Runbritain guidelines, which may change at any time. QR codes will be available at the start for those using the NHS test and trace app.

Organisers: Corby AC

Venue: East Carlton Countryside Park, Corby, LE16 8YF. There is ample parking.

Route: One lap on country roads. The course is hilly.

Entries: Online entries only via the Results Base website – no entries on the night – use your series number if you have one; otherwise your number will be sent by post.

Race Limit: 375 Runners

Entry Fee: £15/£17 unattached; if the event has to be cancelled due to covid-19 restrictions, 90% of your race fee will be refunded.

Closing date: 14 July 2021

On the night: Do not race if you have been unwell or have any of the covid-19 symptoms. Social distancing must always be maintained. Hand sanitiser will be available at the start and finish. It is the runner’s responsibility to provide his/her own water.

Directions: Just off the A427 to the west of Corby. Signposted with a brown tourist sign.

Registration: No registration – replacement numbers from Results Base at the start.

Start: The race starts between 7.45pm and 7.50pm in Church Lane. Allow five minutes to get to the start from the park. The start will be in waves of 30 every 30 seconds. Do not enter the sanitised start area until your wave number is called.

Spectators are discouraged

Refreshments: no refreshments.

Presentation: no presentations – awards will be sent by post after the race.

Results: Results will be posted on the Results Base website immediately after the race and on this website within 24 hours.
