Hayley Dimond achieved three personal best performances in her first ever Heptathlon at the Midland Schools Combined Events meeting, held at Nuneaton.
She started the day with a club F17 record of 11.7 in the 80mH, knocking 0.2 seconds off the 33-year-old record set by Donna Hutt in 1988. Following solid performances in the High Jump and Shot, she ended Day 1 with another personal best in the 200m, recording 26.7.
Consistent scores on the second day saw her accumulate 4379 points for another personal best that ranks her second on the Clubs F17 all-time rankings and in the top 10 nationally.

Hayley has also been selected to represent Northants Schools at the Shot in the English Schools Intermediate Championships to be held in Manchester on 10 July.
