There were more than 30 personal bests at the Milton Keynes Throws Open Meeting, but the standout performance was a new club hammer record for Kayleigh Presswell. Her first throw added 20cm to the record while her second added another 26cm to her first throw. She currently ranks 8th in the UK.
Not to be outdone, her mother improved her own club F55 record in the hammer to 30.43m. Both women are pictured above, by Brian Graves.
Hope Oguidi took one of the oldest of the club records when she leapt to 5.31m in the Long Jump, adding 2cm to the record set by Cathy Goddard in 1981. She currently ranks seventh in the UK for this event.
