The best ever result by an MMK Senior Men’s Team in the South of England 6-stage road relays was last year’s 26th place. This year the club entered two very strong teams, which rewrote the club’s record book.
The men’s A Team was led off by James Tuttle, who recorded the fastest MMK time of the day with 17:14, but that was only good enough for 22nd place. On the second leg Paul Mizon gained nine places with 17:24. Leopoldo Burguete ran the last leg in 17:34 to gain four places and bring the team home 13th.
