The National Primary Schools’ Cross Country Finals were held at Prestwold Hall, near Loughborough, with (at least) 23 MMK athletes representing Milton Keynes or Bucks Swans.
Maddie Pearce had a great run in the Year 7 Girls Race, finishing ninth, while her sister, Eleanor, finished 38th in the Year 5 Girls race, splitting twins Katie (22nd) and Lauren (56th) Webb.
The picture above, by Jackie Garner, shows the three MMK runners, Lizzie, Maddie and Alice, members of the Bucks Swans winning team in the Year 7 Girls race. The Bucks Swans also won the Year 7 Boys Race and took the bronze medals in the Year 6 Girls event. The best-placed Milton Keynes Team was 6th in the Year 5 Boys event.
