244 runners completed this year’s Wolverton 5, held for the first time on a Sunday. Matt Bergin just held off last year’s winner, Kevin Seaward. Alice Burgin won the women’s race by over a minute from Vale of Aylesbury’s Sophie Delderfield.
First home for Marshall Milton Keynes was Paul Mizon, just seven seconds ahead of Sam Winters. First for the CLub in the Women’s race was Siobhan Dyer, well ahead of F60, Diane Baldwin.
The Bucks Short Course Road Championships were held in conjunction and the club had three medallists. Paul Mizon took the Silver Medal with Sam Winters bronze in the Men’s race, while Gary Blaber was second Bucks Vet to finish.
The Eastern Masters Championships were also held in conjunction.
