The fourth round of the East Midlands Grand Prix Road Race series was run on a warm evening from the Community Centre at Weedon. The undulating 10km course is challenging at the best of times, but the weather added another challenge.
Dominic Jones was completely dominant, winning by 2:25, in 31:21, while Alice Belcher was almost four minutes quicker than the second placed female. MMK’s Graham Jones was 6th in 34:40, just 31 seconds ahead of a resurgent Steve Tuttle in eighth place. Fi Han Bromilow was the first F65. 257 finished.
