The weather was kind and it was not too breezy for the 1814 competitors in this year’s MK Festival of Running. The biggest field of the day was the Half Marathon, with 631 finishers, closely followed by the 10km race with 577 finishers. With no London Marathon in April this year the numbers were well down in the 20 mile race with 375 finishers, with 234 finishing the 5km race.
Congratulations to all the finishers and to the scores of volunteers who make this such an inspiring event.
