June 6: Marshall Milton Keynes finish third in the first National Athletics League match at Portsmouth

A small team travelled to the first ever National Athletics League meeting at Portsmouth. A combination of covid induced lack of readiness and the distance to the meeting meant that several events were not covered. Matches 2 (July 3) and 4 (August 28) should lead to much-improved performances.

Those who were there put in some fine performances under the new performance-based scoring system. Eva Durand, with a throw of 43.35m in the Javelin, broke the Club F20 and Senior records and is now second in the Under 20 UK rankings.

Woman of the match was Kayleigh Presswell with a hammer throw of 60.88m. Also featuring in the top six performances were Sam Winters (twice), Lara Moffat and Eva Durand.
