James Tuttle travelled to Mid Cheshire on Thursday to take part in a fast 5km road race, finishing 5th in 14:43, a time that takes his to third place in the all-time Club 5km road race rankings. 603 finished
On Sunday he travelled to the Catford track in South London to run in a track 10000m race, recording a personal best time of 30:46.32 to finish 6th in the A race, a time which ranks him second in the Club all-time 10000m rankings, behind Marcin Fudalej’s 30:05 set 9 years ago.
In the B race, second-claim member, Chris Booth, ran 32:43.95 (pb) to finish 6th. Steve Tuttle, feeling the effects of running the Tour of Milton Keynes, this week, finished 22nd in the B race in 33:52.48 – his first track 10000m race.
On Wednesday Elisa Amana competed in the Lee Valley Sprint series, recording a personal best 13.12(w+1.9) in the 100m, and another in the 200m with 26.86 (w+4.3).
