Kayleigh Presswell was just short of her lifetime best as she recorded 61.34m in the Women’s Hammer to take the bronze medal at the EA Championships in Manchester.
Laura Zialor could only high-jump 1.74m in poor conditions, but this was good enough for the bronze medal.
In blustery conditions Dickson Kusi qualified for the 100m Semi Finals after running 11.19 in the heats, but could only manage 11.38 (w-2.9) in the Semi Finals for eighth place.
Redford Curtis, in his first competition in four years, recorded 57.03m for sixth place in the Javelin.
