Nine runners contested the Watchless Wolverton 5, but Karen Bugaj, nursing a knee injury, retired early on in the race. The aim of the competition is to finish as close as you can to your predicted time for the 5-mile event, held on a very chilly evening.
Runners start at different times according to their predicted finish time. M65, Kelvin Smith, started fourth and finished last, but his predicted time was just one second away from his recorded time. Jeremy Vick was second, just 5 seconds away from his predicted time.
